I am 27, gay and male, live on a small island so most of my kink experience had been primarily online which hadn’t been ideal but had had to work.
When I was younger it felt very easy to connect with kinky people, sites like omegle, kik, fetlife, tumblr and even deviantart at times. You could easily filter out real doms and bad doms and move along if things didn’t work out. Connect with new people and see what happens. Connections felt real most of the time and you would at least have a good time even if short. Some doms from then I still have fond memories off.
But now it feels impossible, telegram groups are dying or heavily monitored to the point you can’t even talk about certain kinks or your blocked, most subs I see are posting the same stuff and are begging for complete ruin with no limits (which isn’t true at all) kik is full of bots, twitter is great for porn but if your not willing to subscribe to an OF or are into findom your not worthy of anyones time. Most people, including myself have resulted in temporary exposure sites but even those are dying and being pushed to obscurity.
so what now? What really is there anymore? it’s disheartening, especially as someone who has been apart of this change since I was 18. I have adapted and moved on but now it seems there is no space for us?
I can’t be the only one feeling this, just rememver I’m from a small island so meeting irl people is honestly impossible (I want to move to the UK for more irl expreinces) this is just from an online perspective. Let me know your thoughts
