The community, the demand for what you’re looking for will always exist. The best they can do is chase us from space to space, but as a community we will always create a new one. There may just be a few lulls in between the spaces we create, that’s all.

It’s certainly not new, and I haven’t been on it in a few years, but Recon was always a great place to meet people. Depending on your kink there are certain communities, such as the leather, latex, and pup communities, that are exploding on instagram before and are more tight nit than you’d think they’d be. I’ve met and talked with (online) dozens of people just this year. Same for Reddit, and this r/ in particular.

Don’t lose hope. Worst case we’re just about to create the next new space and the kink community is just in a temporary lull, but I do think there are a few still working.
